It seems like it would be quite costly to put a hydraulic clutch... On a Blaster..

What is the advantage of this...The blaster clutch works just fine with a cable.

It has to have a bore of 1/4" and a stroke of 1". It has to be a pulling slave. The shaft has to be 3/16".
the end cap has to be treaded and the shaft has to come out 3" when fully extended.
I think that is all that you need.
A picture of what i am tring to make can be found at http://www.billetanium.com/

Thanks for the help.

The reason is because it is fun to be different, and it is more precise feel.

The advantage of a hydraulic clutch is consistant feel. A hydraulic clutch will NOT have an easier pull. It will actually be firmer than a standard clutch. A hydraulic clutch won't fade and will its action will never alter.

Unless a juice clutch came stock, I wouldn't cough up $400. For me, there aren't enough benefits to justify the cost.

try http://www.billetanium.com/ they have hydraulic clutch kits for warrior and the banshee. Maybe the Blaster shares some of those parts. Hope this helps.

You might be able to adapt a hydraulic master cylinder from a mountain bike to work on your blaster/ or maybe check out KTM's Hydraulic clutch set up/ other then that Have someone machine a cylinder out to your specs

i know a KTM will not work. I have every thing that i need but the slave cylinder.

Do you know what it would cost to have a shop make one.

To have a shop custom build you a slave you would need a precise drawing of what you want built. then they would have to estimate it from there. To save on cost of parts I would probably try to buy a hydraulic slave to use as a doner for the custom body I would have built. As far as a estimate It just depends on the amount of time spent machining the item. You know hydraulic shops might be able to help you out on getting the pieces to put in the slave cylinder.

Well good luck on this project
