I just got my first quad today, a Yamaha Blaster. So I am asking you guys expert advice. what are some of the necessary mods that must be done to new blasters? any help would be nice, thanks guyz.

The mods you need depend on what type of riding you are going to do. if you are going to race, get an axle, tires, and shocks. if you are going to trail ride, just leave it stock or get some different tires.

The first thing i would look into if i had it to do again would be shocks.
