Gear Shifter??
#1
Am fairly new to atving(about 8 month) and was wondering if there is a shifter that is longer or comes up higher so you can get your boot up under it to shift? Been riding with just shoes up till now.. Finally broke down and paid the price for some boots but now find myself unable to change gears without looking to get the boot under the shifter... Is there a fix or do I just have to become better with the shifter??? Thanks for any help or suggestions..

I had to change the position of my shift lever when I bought boots and put on my nerf bars....
You are going to have to remove the foot peg for a minute in order to get the shift lever off....But remove the Bolt that holds the shift lever...Pull the lever off and move it up a few threads...should work just fine..

I'd imagine my Warrior isn't that much different from your Banshee, so look for a double-threaded shaft near the case that is connected to the shift lever. It has two lockuts on each end that can be loosened to allow the shaft to rotate providing up/down adjustment of the gear shift lever. I also recently bought a new pair of boots and had problems getting my toe under the lever, but since my lever couldn't be adjusted high enough, I had to remove the collar from the shaft and move it back a notch or two.

I am a taller rider so the pegs on the Banshee were an issue for me.
I lowered the pegs myself with flat steel plate/strap bout a year ago. now they are even with the bottom of the frame, better peg to seat hight. Also better clearance between peg and shifter. Of course a taller seat as well. This only took a couple of hrs. and was well worth the comfort for a taller (6'4") rider. Of course I still had to adjust shifter to suit after peg mod.
Just another idea to kick around.
