I need a little help from those of you who know more than me about carbs. I put in the K&n/Dynojet kit the other day and it ran great except for one small problem. When I am sitting there in neutral and I hit the throttle, it bogs a little before getting some RPM up. No big deal. But also when you nail the gas when you're going real slow, it bogs for a bit before it takes off. Not bad but just enough to be annoying. I have a ProFlow intake with K&N and Outerwear with the flaps cut out of the snorkle like the kit said. I have the stock exhaust and 142, 144 jets in the carbs with screws 3 turns out. I live in Texas so I ride at low altitudes. Does this sound like a fuel screw fine adjustment is needed? If so, on which carb should I do it and how much? I haven't had a chance to do a plug test yet but I plan on taking it out tomorrow and really checking things out. I really am impressed with the increased power and know that all that is needed is a little bike specific tuning. Can't wait to get a pipe!! Thanks a lot.

Matt

The bog is a condition of running lean. You say its only at low speed (RPM) so I would play with the air screw (I think thats the right term) If that doesn't work you would need to increase your pilot jets one size from what you have right now. The main jets and needle settings sound fine. The pilot jet and airscrews are for 0 -1/4 throttle. The needle is for 1/4-3/4 throttle and the main is for 3/4- full throttle.
