What does it take to put a Banshee axle on a blaster?
#1
I've got a couple banshee that I just got and I'm thinking of doing some axle swapping with the blaster I have. I heard that the Banshee and Blaster axles are interchangable. How complicated is it? What do you do with the brakes? Is it easier to hook up rear hydro brakes once the axle is swapped?
Thanks for the info.

Because the banshee axle is wider than the blaster axle. And since I have extra tires and wheels for the Banshee I won't have to worry about having different pattern rims on out of state trail rides. The rims will fit the warrior, blaster and banshee. So i figure by flipping the front wheels and putting on a banshee axle, i can change the width for almost nothing.

I guess what i'm wondering is why not get the Banshees going and leave the Blaster home, or are they just spare parts? if thats the case then get out there in your garage and let me know what you come up with... I also have a friend who has a parts Banshee and i might be able to do the same thing. good luck

I haven't done it yet but I've heard from many sources that the rear hubs are a direct swap. I may be putting the banshee back together since I bought a couple RZ engines. I've heard that if you order an aftermarket banshee axle it says they fit the blaster and the raptor. I think they will work but you have to use the blaster carrier and mount the banshee axle into it. The banshee carrier definately won't fit the blaster.
