Grizzly 660 widspread issue?
#11
I just got back from the dealer and he said that the c-ring had come off the end of the shaft that snaps into the differential. I know I coulda fixed it myself, but I'll just let them deal with it in case there is a problem that causes this to repeat itself. It just seems kinda funny to me that there are several people who have this happening on the same axle. I also left it there so that they can adjust the valves on it since it is now past break-in.

Bussawon660,
I noticed in your post you listed that you have a reverse limter bypass. I just bought my silver grizz (and love it) and was mud boggin last weekend. Fell in a hole that buried the frontend and couldn't climb out, but started making headway in reverse until the limiter kicked in. I called the dealer and asked about getting a bypass switch like most every other machine has, but was told that they couldn't do it. How did you get yours done?
Thanks!

<< Hay bonedady. after the C-clip was replaced did the vebration go away in 4x4 mode. how long did it take for the dealer to fix the problem? >>
I just dropped it off yesterday. They said that they would have the axle fixed yesterday, but he had to wait till today to adjust the valves. He said it would be ready sometime today. I work 3rd shift and if he doesn't call before 12:00 today I'm going to bed and I'll pick it up tomorrow. I'll check the vibration thing as soon as I get it back.

yes works real good very easy to do. ist remove the seat and left side cover. see white plastic holder where all the wires are. find the single wire green with stripe throught it.
near the shifter handle on the plastic fender drilled small hole for toggle switch. pull apart the female and male ends in the clear tube.
run one side of the toggle switch to both wires with the green and white stripe. ground the other side of the toggle switch to a good ground. ANY OTHER QUESTION JUST LET ME KNOW.
