Default blaster jetting please help!!!!!

hey guys,i was just doing some reading about jetting....

my stepbrother who is 11 years old has a blaster,a few weeks ago he burned a hole in the piston.im assuming it was running way lean.i rebuilt the top end with a wiseco pro lite and all new gaskets.when he got the blaster it came with a toomey pipe and silencer,v-force reeds, and uni filter with open air box.the car had a 310 jet in it,when you stopped it took about a min-min and a half for the idle to go back to normal.i changed the jetting to a 330,it seems better but not just right.it still takes 30 sec-min for the idle to come down.

can someone please give me some advice.

thanks
charles
