Warrior or ??

I had a 99 Warrior that I just sold to get a Scrambler 500. The Warrior is a pure race machine.
The Scrambler is faster, manuevers better, and is faster than the other Warrior and 300 EX I ride with.
I don't want to get flamed about the 300. To me, the 300 is just like a Civic or Accord. A really nice car, but it isn't anything I'd PERSONALLY write home about.
I loved my Warrior, but I burned through two clutches, and mine had terrible cold weather performance. It has gobs of torque, and is a fun to ride, but I find the Scrambler better suited to trail riding.
If you're out on wide open spaces, the Warrior is a great machine, but I found the Warrior useless on trails.
Just my 2 cents

I'd suggest a Wolverine. Same engine as the Warrior and with 4x4. You'll be able to get through plenty of things they can't and I think that's more fun than going as fast as they can. Plus a Wolverine is pretty fast anyway. About 51-55 mph when its stock. Nice suspension and handling too. You had a Beartracker so did you have some work to do? A Wolverine is also a great utility machine. Take the racks off and it looks like a sport quad. $200 less than the Warrior too. That's just something I suggest you look into.

Warrior $200 more than a Wolverine????????? Not last time I checked. I ride a 98 Warrior and with the addition of some aftermarket tires it's trail abilities are much enhanced. I ride with guys on 4x4's and usually dont have any trouble staying with them through most terrain. The Warrior will "keep up" with 400EX's, Banshees and pretty much anything else. It won't win any races against these machines but if your buddies arent a bunch of jerks and trying to lose you there wont be any problems riding with them. It's going to be alot faster than the beartracker. Mine pulled 63mph stock at the 4000' elevation.
