Anyone running Shredders on a Raptor? Other opinions?
#1
I need some new rear tires and I'd like to know everyone's opinions on tires. I've used 6-ply Shredders on different machines in the past and have had good luck. I'm looking for a tire that hooks up well on hardpack going straight but has virtually no side-bite. I want it to slide easily. My mods are: gutted airbox, 160-165 mains, needles moved up a notch, Pro Circuit slip-on, and a Lonestar +4 axle. Thank's in advance.

I'm running Shredders on mine. I like the tires as far as the way they hook up and slide, I chose them over the Razors bacause the ***** were closer together. I don't care for the way the ***** have the raised rubbber surrounding them. It lookes like they will appear wore out way before the Razors will. I haven't had them on for to long, so time will tell.

Difference of night and day on both counts. The stock ones when powering out of corners wanted to kick the machine straight and throw the fronts in the air but alot more controlable with the shredders. Not a great amount of traction loss, just makes it easier to ride fast. No complaints about performance, just don't care for the looks as well as the Razors or others.
