I read somewhere there was a fix for the new Griz stumbling and cutting out crossing water holes, even shallow ones, but I cannot seem to find it. Has Yamaha come up with one. Other then that, have not had any problems with my Griz 660 bought in June.

The fix is very easy. All you need to do is to take out the spark plugs, put dielectric grease on them, than screw them back in. The cause, since the cylinders are pitched 45 degees forward, the water splashes onto the sparkplugs and it shorts out.

also put some on the two conecters on the front different. mine never did spudder but others have so i grease all 3 just in case.
sometimes when you use the locker have to wait a sec for it to lock in or she will spudder. turn the wheels she locks in faster when stops flashing you ready to go.

Okay, I appreciate the help, the engine does sit pretty far forward.
