i was talking to a guy that owns a yamaha shop near my home and he said that they are going to put the yz400f engine in a quad. well he said that it would be an updated warrior frame. if they put that motor frame it will blow *****. but i read in a magazine and they are testing with 3 frames one is a banshee frame the other is a warrior frame and another is a special one (probably a replica of a 250R frame) but i am a honda fan but the 400ex won't stand a chance against the pontent engine. but i would love to ride a quad with that beast below me but if the frame sucks then it's no good. so which do you think is better a responded for a trail and racer bike a 400ex or yzf400f quad just let me know what ya'll think

 

I've been dreaming of a yz400f quad, but thought it was just rumor. Sounds like it might be a reality? If they don't come out with one soon I may have to settle on the 400ex. My son wants my Warrior (he'll have to fix the starter and get tires that hold air first!!) Keep us posted on any news of this thing becoming a reality.

 

Hey everyone I would just like to say that I own a 400EX and it is definitely the most awesome Honda 4 stroke power along with the reliability.
But it is full well known that the YZ400 motor really shreds!! So I hope to see them come out with one soon for all you guys. It really should shred the 400ex stock to stock if Yam keeps everything simalar so goodluck. Now when thats all I see in the magazines I wont be complaining about it like everyone did the 400ex and you wont either because you will probably be driving one.
