Wolverine 6th gear????????????????
#1
Anyone know why the Wolv. wouldn't have 6th gear?
The engine is basically a Warrior's. I believe the Warrior has a 6th, correct me if I'm wrong.
I suppose the tranny just doesn't have the extra room since it has to couple a front drive shaft and rear at that.
It would be a nice addon for 2001 Eh!!!

yeah it would. It would be a scrambler killer. Even better if they made it a 400, with selectable 4 wheel drive!

Actually it's only the top end (cylinder, head, etc) that it shares with the Warrior. I believe the crank and everything else is unique to the Wolv. It would be great if Yamaha would up the displacement, add a 6th and selectable 2wd/4wd locked differential. It would be the best thing out there.
