I have heard that they offer a wireless setup for the warn winch. My question is where can I get this awesome innovation? and how much does it cost? One more question, can it be used with a mounted switch on there as well to give you the option of using the remote or handlebar switch? I have got to get me one!!!!!!! thanks

The wireless option is made by Ramsey. It comes with a weather resistant toggle switch and the remote. The price is $152.95 from AW Direct. Part # RMR-53. Regardless what they tell you this is the correct part number for the Warn 2000 on your Grizz.

I really like not having the big O'l gray switch mounted to my rack.

Go to AW Direct and search on RMR-53 to see it or buy it online.

what is the purpose of the toggle switch? do you still have use of that bulking grey switch or does it come obsolete? Thanks so much for the great reply cruiser, really appreciate it, do you think it is worth the money?

The toggle switch is just for a backup if the batteries go dead in the remote. The kit comes with a contactor simular to the Warn 2500 package so you no longer need a high current switch. Actually any switch would work. The remote is the same size as a standard keyless entry for cars and has a distance of 50 feet. I really don't know if it's worth it. Time will tell. I have the remote velcro'd to my left handle bar so I can us it sitting on the machine. I just ordered the Montana Jack's accessory receiver system so I can move the winch from front to rear. I do trail maintenance and when we start again in the spring I think the wireless control will be nice.
