I am either thinking of trading my 02 B/W Raptor for a 02 Griz or selling my 02 Raptor and buying one. Could you folks let me know what you think of yours and i want to know all the good and bad points. Problems and so forth. Thanks in advance!

my buddy is doing the same exact thing, I love my grizz, havn't had the boiling gas problem yet, and didn't have the front left shaft problem either (knock on wood). I ride with my buddy, the raptor owner, and don't get me wrong I LOVE the raptor and so does he, but the grizz does so much more and it has the speed, i think you are making the right choice, but don't expect to be pulling wheelies and rocken crazy jumps. good luck

A very good friend of mine recently purchased the new silver 660 Grizz. What a BEAST.Without a doubt,Yamaha done their home work on this quad.He has not had any of the other problems that the other owners have been thru.I think its been the EARLY model 660s thats been having a few problems.I rode this beast a few times, and it WILL be my next 4x4 ATV.

I traded in my wolverine for a 660 grizz because I wanted to go places that my wife was going on her 600 grizz. When I got the quad home I put 28" outlaws on it and we went for a ride, my wife got on it and could not beleive the difference in comfort, steering, power, and control at high speeds (we had 27" tri and bi claws on the 600) and it would get loose at high speeds with trying to steer it, the independent suspension makes all the difference in the world, the wife now has a red 660 grizz with 28" outlaws and will go any where any time, she has no fear (she will kill me for this) at 39 and holding. We have not had any problems with our quads of any kind that has been mentioned in these forums, and we do put them through hell. lol GRIZZD-OUT IN FLORIDA

I own a grizz 660 with 800km on it and i have no problems with it. I checked it over my self (did my own pdi) bled the rear brake and adjusted the shifter because the dealer didn't know how and they told me that the rear brake is supposed to be mushy (really). The last 300k i've really been pushing it hard through mud and swamps and never had a sputtering problem like some people. It's very cold here now and fires up the first time every time.

I'am very happy with the grizz and i would recomend it.

I too traded in the wolvy for a Grizz... thats one heck of a leap in ATV and well worth it if I don't say so myself!

Anyways mtecate4g, there just is no way you can go wrong here! In the right hands with the right stuff, the Grizz is the only tool/toy that a man needs. Go anywhere anyhow anytime.....

I got my Grizzly in August. I have had no problems of any kind even though its been fipped twice. love the machine, the only other ATV that i would even compare it to is the Kawisaki 650 V-Twin.

r440~I can do a wheelies on my Grizzly, and i only whiegh about 140. Sure it takes more effort to do than a raptor, but it is still possible, and once you figure it out, its fun.

r440 -

When you get a chance to ride with the MATVA gang ask Quadstock how well a Grizz wheelies. We had a blast at the dunes and it was mostly doing wheelies on the shore of lake Mich. I weigh 245 and the Grizz will stand up.
