Anyone figure out yet how to bypass the rev limiter for locked 4x4?
Anyone know if Yamaha will have the "supposed water problem" fixed for next year's model?
When you guys take it in water does the belt housing get water in it causing you to stop and drain it?

Thanks.

Hey, your an evil 650 guy just looking for bashing material aren't you!!! No, just joking man. Somebody figured a way to bypass the limiter on both the reverse and the diff-lock. Its in here somewhere, but I can't remember the title of it. I haven't had any problems with a belt slipping, but I avoid the water anyway. Not too keen on the auto tranny, but there wasn't any choice with a 600+ quad. I wish they would have made a manual griz or prairie. Dammit!! I went through some water that was probably about 5-6" over the floorboards a couple times, but I didn't get any in the tranny. A lot of folks have had that problem though. I knew that was a risk when I bought mine (basically cause its an auto), but I just decided to take the risk and not play in the water much.

For the most part, my grizz has been nothing short of remarkable. Some guys have been dissapointed though, and I am just waiting to burn a belt or something.

Ive had mine in lots of water and the drain tube on the front transmission vent always gets water in it but ive never got any water out of the case drain and never had the belt slip my buddies 700 polaris slips all the time and were riding the area my biggest problem is the gas boiling causing it to vapor lock it doesnt stall or anything just sometimes when you hit the gas it doesnt go and you have to feather it a little to get it to go me and yamaha are gone settle this though...

From a peformance perspective the I am very pleased with the Mudrunners. The traction is super and they ride very smoothe even on pavement. Someone I know has the 26" MR. The rears are HUGE compared to the 25".
Hope that helps.
