Plug Gap for Banshee
#12
Try a tank of 40:1 and run it for a while, and do a plug check. See what color it's burning. Lean is mean. I've ran both mixtures and can't tell that the quad runs any different with one than the other. The only difference I've been able to tell is when I run race gas, and that's because I have the compression to burn it. My dad's banshee had a sticker on it to run at 20:1. If you put pipes and filter on it definitely do plug checks to make sure you aren't running to lean. The company tells you 24:1 for the same reason the bike shop mixes the first tank rich as heck, to make sure that people that have never had one don't blow it up in the first month. Most people after a while talk to other owners and learn what works for them, and then it just becomes a test phase to see what works for you. Good luck with your new ride!

hey eq,
i didnt mean that it gave me more power, but that it dont matter the mixture, you get the same power. i run 40:1 cause my plugs look fine and it dont foul many plugs. not cause it gives me more power. you really just need to try out the mixtures and see which one u like the best and stick to it. when i get pipes i will change to 32:1.
sorry for the arangement of words.
