YoDaddy, I think the $1600 post was in the Yamaha forum. I think someone also mentioned that the gearing on the Raptor and streetbike are totally different, so it won't be as fast. Well guys, I am with YoDaddy, let's stop the arguing.

LOL, I was wondering what you were talkin about. LOL. Don't worry about it man, I do stuff like that all the time. He11, just today I had a candy bar in one hand and the wrapper in the other and I threw the candy bar away and almost took a bite of the wrapper. If you decide you wanna make the drive next winter, we should deffinitely meet at Glamis. Right now I'm just lookin forward to the 02 racin season. All the tracks around here don't start racin (with quad classes anyway) until February .

You do realize that the last post to this thread was almoast a year old... right?

So your saying that a stock Raptor vs a stock 89 Honda 250R on a motorcross track the Raptor would win?

Are you ok there buddie... ?

(maybe thats why lonestar, LSR, Roll Design and all the others are forming their frames based on the Raptors)

I don't know if I was hitting the mx track I'd take that 250r over the raptor anyday. If I wanted unlimited hp potential I would take the raptor but I would definitely have to modify it's handling characteristics.

I think it's cool resurrecting an old post especially if it turns out to be an intelligent debate and not a flame fest.
