Hi,

I replaced the wheel bearings in my 95, it isn't the most fun I've had,but it is easily done in the garage. The bearing is a 6006 2RS(2rubber seals) you will need 4,and a good punch to get the bearings out,be careful not to nick the housing. I made a plastic driver to make sure I drove the new ones in straight, make sure what ever you use, like a socket,or piece of wood, only hits the outside ring,or you risk damaging the new bearing. I went to the Yamaha dealer for the bearings- 25 bucks a piece, got them out of Dennis Kirk for less than 8 bucks. A bearing or tools warehouse might even have them cheaper. I also carefully took the seal from the inner side of the bearing and packed them full of grease, not a lot from the factory. I also made sure the axle housing was packed as full as possible,to keep moisture out and provide as much lube as possible. Also, keep an eye on all the seals, there is a little oring that is easy to lose.

I recommend NTN 6006LLU bearings for the front, they may cost a bit more but they are worth it. Had mine in for a long time and no problems so far...

I now need to replace front and rear bearings in my 95 Wolverine. I've looked through many aftermarket catalogs such as Rocky Mountain, Chapparral, and Dennis Kirk. I can't find a listing anywhere. I hate to pay the dealer their premium price. Anyone have any ideas on where to get them?

When I was in your position not too long ago I just took the old berings to the dealer and had him match up the numbers and get me aftermarket berings. The dealer wanter $14 apiece for the berings and I ended up getting them for $8 apiece and they were sealed and better berings.
