Some of the early 2 stroke bikes had a rotary valve and no doubt they had a cam to operate the oil pump.

Some two stroke diesel engines have exhaust valves in the head. And don't forget about the MFI that have cam(s), push rod(s) and rocker(s).

im the friend of blasterfatty that he was refering to. And first off after reading the replies with him even though i'm a dirtbike guy now i had to register so i could post a reply, Killer is an complete ***, he's ignorant and he's respect for no one whether he relizes this or not. The only reason blasterfatty thought that blasters have cams is because he remembered seeing a 290 big bore kit for his bike and I told him that you couldn't a bore kit to make 90 more cc because if you had the bike bore over that much it would run way too hot, and he told me part of the kit was a bigger size cam. So oviously there was a false advertisment for a bore kit for his bike and in this "bore kit" was a bigger size cam, maybe this is a real bore kit but it was obviously accidentally advertised for blaster. I apperciate guys that backed my friend up for killer's ignorance. Stay strong, ride hard!

Some have reed, rotory, or power-valves. No Intake/Exhaust valves such as in a 4-stroke though.

you want some water thrown on ya killer, to lighten up that red face of your's, you gotta think about wat your say, like i said wat u posted was ignorant whether u noticed it or not or if u meant to or not but you jus gotta consider why ppl like us work on our own stuff, i work on my own cuz i dont have the $ to pay a mechanic to do the work so i started taken a part my own stuff and learnin a while ago, my friend has the $ to pay for mechanic so he only does little stuff like carb, brakes, and other stuff like that and he's only been ridin for a year or so seein he has an '01 or '00 blaster so he's only had a 1 or 2 problems w/ the motor that he had to have a mechanic do, do u see wat im sayin, im not some big jerk, calm down and jus think before you post, and you shouldn't laugh at nething, askin is how u learn
