Mtpockets~

You could run 28" tires on the Grizz 660 w/o any problems. I say that, but remember, any after market tire isn't going to be as "easy" on the quad as small the stock potatoe skins are. If the Bi/Tri Claw Magnums ever come out in 28" height, I'm getting 'em. Until then, I'll stick with the 27" because they are simply awesome, so you wouldn't have any problems with 26" Outlaws.

<< Having the same problem with my Big Bear. Was able to start it the other day by holding the throttle wide open but that didn't work Saturday morning. It started on the first hit but then died right before I backed out of the garage. I think there was fuel left over from the last ride a few days earlier so I feel like it's a fuel delivery problem. I was getting good spark but no ignition. >>

Well I got mine started today. It was in the mid 50's and at first I was getting the same symptoms. I had a fresh charge and the spark plug had been cleaned with carb cleaner. Didn't have time to pick up a new one.
It was flooded. I had suspected that it was but didn't confirm until my intake caught on fire. Yikes. I pulled the plug and let it sit for an hour. When I put the plug back in, I pushed the choke in and it hit first time on the starter. Took it for a spin and it runs like the proverbial scalded dog.

Hello people!

I was reading the artical about cold weather problems, I own a 2002 660 grizzly with about 975kms on it I have had no problems with the grizz and i drive it hard, no missing going through deep water, starts up fine hot or freeeezing cold (-15 to-25 on the canadian thermo) I check and do all the work myself so far i have done 3 oil changes added a 2inch ball for my trailer, grip and thumb warmers with variable heat control and i'am now using amsoil syn oil and K&n oil and air filter. I don't even use gas dry in this cold weather but i make sure i use good gas (91oct). I take it out in the snow all the time i got stuck a few times but no big deal. The only thing i don't like are those junky tires they come with but they will soon go.
