I went to the yamaha dealer on the west bank this weekend. They had a beige one on the floor, 2 reds and 2 greens in crates. He said they usually sale them for $6500.. but I don't think he knew what he was talking about. If they are that much, I WILL get one soon!

It wasn't too bad. I prefer silver myself I would prob get red (if I had to get a regular color) but the wife don't like red or green. But, she seemed to like the beige ok. It is kinda like khaki.. I figured it would be more "yellow"

on the price.. I seriously doubt the guy quoted a correct price

I noticed you were using a thumb warmer. Does that really make a difference? Is it like the heated grips or does your thumb actually go inside like a pocket? I have seen the throttle extender that you can use with the palm of your hand.

Grizzkid~

Boy howdy does it make a difference! The hot grips are really nice, and they're very warm...actually turn them off quite a bit, but my thumb was always "numb". With that thumb warmer, it's incredible. It's not a pocket, but a little heating element that you epoxy on the back side of your throttle, then just get some shrink wrap, put it over it, hit with a heat gun, and you have a factory looking throttle again, only this warm is heated. Anyone that suffers from "cold thumb" such as I do, or just rides in cold weather, I would highly recommend a thumb warmer.
