Sounds like a good idea!
As far as filling the cooler with oil I have a 24" funnel that I use. It makes for easier filling, also, the can of oil fits between the handle bar and brake lever and I can do something else while it's draining.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
