Raptors&Warriors

okay guys. here's a new one. i own both and i'm in the middle of buying tires. i would like to purchase a set of 22" holeshots w/rims for the warrior. i'm thinking about going with raptor stock offset on the rims so i can use them on my Raptor for the trails.
if this widens the warrior so be it. it could use it. opinions please.
i also plan on ordering a set of 20" holeshots to replace the raptors stock tires. As well as a set of ice tires for both Machines.

I do like the razors but they don't last as long as ITP's. Great tire for racing but not practicle for everyday use. atleast not on my budget. i'm looking at $1200 in tires and rims these things need to last.
a women at rockymountain atv said the offset is the same for both quads. Can anyone confirm?

Ive got both bikes as well. The wheels are interchangable between the two. It's real nice especially when you get a flat and want to ride - just swap. I run 22" dia rear tires on my warrior with good results. I also use 22" holeshots on my Raptor (primarily for the added ground clearance). You probably already know the sizing standards, but if unclear, check www.yamaharaptor.com tech tips for a good write up on tire size.

Why do you have to flip the rims around to the other side? Is the Warrior offset different than the Raptor offset?

Yes, the offset is reversed between my Raptor rims and Warrior rims. I also noted that the Studs on the Raptor axles are about 1/4" taller. This could spell trouble for using Raptor Wheels on a Warrior if the mounting flange is too thick.
