I'm trying to adjust my valves, but no matter what mark I put it on(intake/exhaust) I can't even fit a .002 under it. what can I do to make sure that I'm on the intake stroke. I don't want to be adjusting the intake and be on the exhaust stroke. I know the adjustment but just thought that the .002 would fit under one of them but that didn't work. PLEASE HELP!!!!

This is a common problem, I have found that mine tighten up about every 500-600 miles. If you are turning the crank counter clock wise from the inspection hole going slow you should be able to feel it come up on the comp. stroke. If your still unsure, take off one of the exhaust rocker covers and feel the rocker as you turn over the engine.
