way off the subject but, turbo cars rock. its too bad though that if they ever put another gn into production, it will be a four door, front drive, and naturally aspirated. you guys could answer this. was it wrong to sell my high 12,low 13's big block short box pick up for a quad(raptor)? i sure do miss the sound of those flowmasters.

Dude, sorry you were put in that situation. I know its tuff letting RODS go, but I bet you probably have more fun on the Raptor. Its just those times at a red light when you want your "BEAST" back I bet.

I feel the same way sometimes. I had a modded '82 5.0 GT. Every once in awhile you see a punk kid in a Mustang or TransAm or whatever & just wish you had the old car once more. Around here the latest thing is to buy a 4X4 truck put glass packs & a cheap body lift on it act like a race car driver. I have a somewhat tall truck (Dodge), these kids actually pipe me up at intersections! I have an old IH 4X4 truck too. I've had a couple kids asked who made it !!!! Can you believe that? Who made International Harvester!!!! One kid asked if it was a Chevy or a Ford ! What an insult.
I guess the only thing worse are those hopped up rice burners.

biggerisbetter- i was not at ok. I have not run the gn for a few years. My friend has a new lighting and i got it out to show him a fast car. After driving for a hour the need for 'speed' is pumping through my viens again. I forgot how slow 1 ton crewcabs really are. I am on the lookout for a cyclone or typhoon to add to the collection. My wife wants another 80 model school bus yellow corvette. I traded that vette off for a 90 model vette because i wanted to hit 165 mph on the hiway. She hated that vette. Every day when she went to work she would set off everyone alarm in the parking garage. She had to park on the 5 floor. Woman can get worked up to easy sometimes.

if you go 2 stroke go used, pre 99... if you get a new banshee you are limited to when and where you use it... assuming you live in california
