what dose everyone ride
#2
I ride a 1998 warrior with razr tires mounted on douglas rims. I put a 14 tooth sprocket on it and a pro design filter setup. The only thing i don't like about it is the wide turning radius. I like it better than the 400ex b/c it has revers, which is a life saver on tight trails or on muddy hills

My Quads
2001 400ex.
Motor mod's are:[i]11:1 Weisco 416 kit, HRC Cam, GT Thunder Porting/Polish, Uni-Filter, De-restricted stock Silencer and headpipe.
Chassis mods are:18 inch Nac's grooved Turf-Tamer rears on Douglas .190, 18 inch Nac's Custom Grooved Radials on Douglas .190, 22 inch Sur-Trak rears on Douglas .190, Ohtsu 501 front radials mounted on stock rims, 20 icnh Ice tires with studs mounted on stock rims, AC Aluminum Nerfs, Pro-Design Kill Switch, Cr-High bend MSR Dominator Aluminum Handlebars, MSR Dominator Gel Grips, SBS Brake Pads, and Vito's Caliper Cooler Parking Brake Block-off. That's all I can think of right now.
My Impressions on this quad:I love the handling of the 400ex, and after a few mods the power is where I think it should be. I'm planning on getting a full set of Elka SSD's whenever I can get enough money saved up from my job.
1999 Recon.
Mod's are:.030 over weisco Piston, Port & Polish, K&N Filter, Derestricted Air-Box, 22 inch Sur-Trak Rear's on stock rims, OEM Fronts on stock rims (what's with the 11 inch wheels?!?), Stock 400ex Handlebars, Scott Huricane Grips, Pro-Design Kill Switch.
My impressions with this quad:The recon is a great quad to just hop on and have fun with. It can be used for about anything, and I have been known to take mine out onto the MX track Occasionally...
