Hi All...

I'm looking to buy some new wheels/tires for my 2000 Blaster. I want more tread touching the ground, but don't want to lose the ability to handle all the different terrain I ride on (dirt, sand, mud, etc). Any recommendations???

I just put a set of Holeshots XC on mine. I love them, i bought douglas 9x9 rims and the tires are 20x11x9. I ahve not had a chance to do any hill climbing so I am not sure how that will compare to stock. But the stibility and nimbleness of the bike is greatly incresed.

I was also looking a Fast Treckers, price mainly..

Where do you ride in Lakeland?

see ya,

A couple of different places. Poincienna (sp?) about 10 miles east of Dundee. It was originally a housing development that went bust. All the roads are there, but no homes and lots of dunes, trails and mud to enjoy. You have to share it with Jeeps and other 4-wheeling machines, but a total blast. The other place is Crooms north of Dade City (hwy54), but I haven't been up there yet. When time is a factor...the backyard works!!! Wife hates it, but I cut the grass.

By the way...thanks for the info. Where to you get your tires at and what did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

The tires were free.. A friend needed to get rid of them. They are brand new, still had the little rubber things that stick up..(whatever they are called.) I bought the rims from Rocky Mountain ATV Douglas .160 9x9 $110.00 that included 3 day shipping.
