Put a new top-end in my blaster this week and was suprised that the base gasket from yamaha has changed. It no longer comes with a bead of sealant on it. It was dry metallic looking. I called the dealership to make sure I had the right gasket and they said they started using tephlon spray on them instead of the sealant. Anybody no why and when they started?
