im working on trading my thumb throttle for a twist throttle that dosnt have that switch on the carbuerator can i make my thumb throttle work without that switch to

Im the guy thats going to trade him my twist throttle for his thumb throttle. Okay heres the story: His blaster and all stock ones have this switch assembly on the carb were the cable goes into first then into the carb itself. Now on my blaster that switch is missing, instead the cable just skips it and goes directly into the carb. The thing i would like to know is if i put on a stock thumb thottle do i need that switch to make it work? Im almost sure that his will work fine without it because my quad is running fine without it right now. Tom if your really interested in trading, i think the best thing to do is just to trade everything from the trottle all the way to the carb. Unless someone knows different. thanks for your help guys.

 

That switch is probably part of the T.O.R.R.S. system. You can remove that all together, and the bike will run fine. I haven't done this so I could be wrong... But your friend has a good idea and trade the entire assy..

 

GET RID OF THE TORS!!! After having many problems with my blaster, i disconnected the TORS and it ran fine. NOthing will happen to the blaster with it disconnected. Dont worry about swapping out the TORS. You can get an idel kit from motion pro. Both blaster will run fine with out the Horrid TORS hooked up.
