Well there is a kid nearby selling a '97 Blaster for 1,400. I am in school right now so i had my mom call from home and she said the guy told her it has a DG Exhuast, DG silencer, FMF Reeds, and a DG bumper. He also said it runs good, but thats the part I am sceptical about. For that low price and those mods costing around 400 I was just wondering what you guys think. I havent seen it yet. Are there any signs that I should look for that will tell me it isnt in good shape as far as the motor goes? Thanks for your help guys.

 

First of all, why are'nt you studying?or paying attention to your teacher?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]Second, you alot cooler than I was when I was in school, To be able to talk to us and get away with it. Finally, that sounds like a good deal, but not really a scam, Do you know the kid?and how he treats his stuff. If it starts an idles good and you can't see any play in the joints when you rock it back and forth. ride it, if all seems well, BUY it. any small problems you might encounter, their will be a hole lot of guys here to talk you though fixing them. Yeah my teacher is up front on her computer and she is totally clueless. I am in some computer programming class which is way over my head and over hers too. Anyways, the kid lives about 20 mins away so I dont know. He said he is selling it to buy a 125 dirtbike. I might be going this Friday to look at it.

 

Let them help you with the wheeler, and me help you with the programming. I am fluent in Visual Basic, C++, Java, HTML, and RPG. This forum looks like a one stop shop for anything.

 

i payed 1400 for my blaster when i had it. it also was a 97, the only thing that was done to it was the motor was just rebuilt my a local bike shop. seems like the owner forgot to check the oil bottle. just look it over good and see how it runs.

 

Well i got 2 blasters for only 500.00 just because the price is low does not mean it is a scam...the kid could not be to smart, so just check it out
