Anyone out there using bead locks ? Are they worth the $$ ? How much weight are they adding ?

 

I'm running 8x8 Douglas beadlocks with 18x11x8 Turf Tamers on the rear. With beadlocks there is no worry about the tire coming off the rim, and also when you hit a competitors nerfs or wheel or whatever, it doesn't destroy the edge of the wheel and cut the tire down like standard wheels. As far as weight, were talking a few ounces heavier, so it's not that much. If you do alot of sliding or bermbanging, I would consider them mandatory.
