For some reason or another,my Raptor runs rough at and idle. I put on a White Bros pipe and K&N filter. When I run it at half or full throttle it is fine, but at a idle it sounds like it's missing. I changed the jet's to 146 on the left carb and 150 on the right. I still has that problem. If anyone has any idea's,I would greatly appriciate it..

Have you changed the filter set up yet ? If so the needle clips could be set to low. I know that the instructions say to put the clips in the forth position but the guy at dynojet (who make the the K&N jet kit) said to go to the second position with the clips. Try contacting Dynojet, K&N, or White Bros.

You did'nt mention if you were running a Dyno-jet kit....are you? The main jet's are not gonna take care of an idle problem. What size pilot jets are you using?

Rraptorr13....What was wrong/symptoms with your machine for the Dyno-jet guy to prescribe moving the needles down (effectively leaning this circuit)?

No I'm not running the Dyno-jet setup. But that is a good point on the pilot jet. Also could a bad coil be the problem? I'm not for sure if I were to change the pilot jet.

It was a little rich. Plus it didn't want to idle when you slowed up . Example tight turns , coming off a jump with little room after landing

Check the carb boots to see if they are backing off. Also, look very carefully for tears or cuts around the clamp areas.

air/fuel mixture screws!!! sounds like you didnt touch them..try turning them to the right until they stop (NOT TIGHT JUST UNTIL THEY STOP) back them out 3 turns put your needle back at 4 slots down
