Works Raptor shocks - rezzy mounting?

I got my Works triple rate shocks put on, but the way Works tells you to mount the reservoirs doesn't look too great. They are supposed to be mounted under the front horizontal frame rails like this :

Can I just mount them behind the shocks on the vertical framerails by the oil tank?
