660 Grizz water problems???
#1
I am interested in buying a 660 Grizz, but heard that they may have a problem with the clutches getting water in them. Any truth to that? My dealer said that Yamaha fixed this problem from the 600 Grizz, but I would like to hear from the guys (and gals) that actually use their machines in the real world. Thanks for your help in advance!!

You're likely going to get alot of answers to this, and varying ones at that. As an 02 660 Griz owner, I can tell you that I play in mud & water up to the bottom of my headlights. I have NEVER got water in my tranny. Now, if you dunk your grizzes front or rear and allow water to enter the tranny snorkels, you will get water in there. It's not too big of a deal, just drain it but it will play havoc on your belt, as with any belt driven automatic tranny.
There's my 2 cents.
