Wheelies
#1
Hi, I have a 99' Yamaha Timberwolf. Does popping wheelies on a 4x4 atv hurt anything. My cousin says i am going to bust my front shaft sometime when i come down. Thanks for everyone's help. Sean Sicher

Hey, there's nothing wrong with wheelies. If done right, they are loads of fun. Few things are more exciting than riding a wheelie for a few yards. However, I would recommend a helmet. Even though all bikes today are equipped with a grabbar, there is still a chance for a rollover.
Automatic clutch bikes are usually harder to get a wheelie out of, but if you can get it up, they are usually easy to keep up and to ride because of the smooth powerband.
