Now guys dont get me wrong but the area I live in Tn Nc and Ga all meet up and we have a lot of northrens and Floridiots(Not ALL by no means) are moving in thinking they own the place. Well today after work I was out riding on a old gravel road when out of nowwhere I was totally boxed in all around me vehicles had me. They jumped out and starting saying we are tired of this Beeping people on these 4 wheelers and motorcycle flying and messing up our rodes. I was like fellers you saw how slow I was coming through here and u see me all the time well they said so what come with us we r calling the cops. I was like What the Heck. after a few heated words and what not with each other one guy says all heck let him go he wasnt doing anything wrong. I said my pray then and they told me to never come through there again. Hello fuzzy I have several friends who own land all around them wait till they here of this. But I just wanted to let u all know we need to band together and stop these idiots from messin up peoples land and giving us the riders who just want to ride a bad name.

wheelers are what harley's were in the 70's. only trouble makers and hells angels ride 4 wheelers. that's the impression i get from some politically correct neighbors. you did the right thing though. you run and your automatically guilty. we all need to remember to take it easy on the public roads...

I hear you there. I live in up in ohio and I have neighbors that must really hate motorcycles and quads. Sometimes I will just put around in my driveway (very slowly) and if a front tire even touches the road they call the cops!!! It sux because i am not causing any harm or damage to anything, and none of the bikes or quads are loud. They just don't like them....

Hey Boogieman, you're not alone. We got the same kind of people up here in Canada. Doesn't seem to matter where a guy rides, somebody will not want you there. The guys I ride with are all pretty courteous. If we are cruising a fireroad and come up on some hikers, berrypickers, birdwatchers, etc., we slow down and pass them at a slow pace. Some of them are very nice and just wave, while others give you the stink eye. So don't worry brother!! Ignorance is all around us and there is nothing we can do about it. Just keep riding courteously and smile a lot. That seems to really bug them!!!

mastrblastr said it right. If you have to ride on the road in a residential area, take it slow, and be friendly. Give pedistrians a wide berth, and wave and smile at everyone you pass.
Boogieman, it's too bad your neighbors don't understand that doing that to you and other ATVers will only make things worse for them. If you're afraid of getting caught by the cops, then the thing to do is drive as fast as possible so that you spend less time on the roads, and have less chance of being seen. People will not stop riding their quads, so your neighbors should understand that they have to get along.
Some people just plain hate atv's and snowmobiles, and no matter what you do they will complain. But if you're curteous and polite nobody will take their complaints seriously.

last year i was at my friends house with my warrior, he on his yz125 and we drove 20 yards down the road and turned right into a trail, my friends neighbour called the cops on us, even though he rides his moto4 everyday down the road(2 miles!) to his grandpas farm. I just dont understand, its not his road! And my neighbour, are just mean people. they ride their snowmobile on the road but i cant? its just mean people not liking you, its their "chance" to get you in any way they can. I respect other's property.
The respect list is as follows:
-pissing people off makes things worse
-wave so you seem polite, "seem" polite(they wont know you hate them)
-dont do burn outs where people can see you
-if they can see you, dont do burnouts
-if your neighbour is a hawkeye, be careful, i once had a neighbour kick me oughta his feild for going in 3rd gear, wasnt even muddy, just a dry day in july(and yes i do understand suing and all that)
-if you say you wont sue the guy if you get hurt, dont lie. youve just made an enemy for life.
-if somebody walks in front of you purposly while in 5th gear, run them over, its not your fault, you cant turn. this happened to me last september, i was riding with my friend that has a big bear 350 2x4, we were going full out, down my dirt road, these 3 kids were off to the side, and so were we, we slowed down to 3rd, but as we were about to pass them my neighbour(what a freakin ***)walks out infront of my friend!
he couldnt turn and he ran over his legs, he called his dad/his dad/blah blah blah and they couldnt do anything about it because it was his fault for standing infton of him.
-respect your friends parents=no burnouts on their lawn, be careful(until you leave the property hehehe)
-dont ride your friends quad when parents can see you.
-slow down for pedestrians
-if you see a cop and you have the speed by all means run and go into the forest where he cant chase you! - see post "atv's and cops dont mix"
LOL
-do maintinance on your atv regularily not like me and my old dirtbike, always dirty, hardly changed the tranny oil, never even cleaned the air box for like a year. ill do that on friday its supposed to be 50 degrees!
-know your rights for when something happends to you, like somebody stands infront of you purposly(i would run him over, he would get the blaim and a couple broken bones, he did it, he would get the blame, and you cant turn in 5th gear, he was trying to make you turn and fall, i would say f-u! and run the freak over.
-if you have 4x4 and you run somebody over, dont reverse and keep doing it.
-stupid people dont know theyre stupid so just laugh at their stupidity. laugh at them, even tho you havnt said something funny. it always makes them curious to why your laughing at them LOL
-neighbous suck, dont like it MOVE
-if you cant move think of an evil scheme to drive them out of this state!
-forget the previous post
iv typed my hands off of jibberish..... but when i post im dedicated
-yawn-
school in the morning(sigh)
p.s. i jumped my first 20 footer today! PROUD OF ME?!?!?!

Ha, My neighbors call the cops when I start an engine!!! I own a Landscaping business and much of my equpiment is lourder than my Quad is. I think they just like to bust my *****. If they see that it is a quad I am starting they will call the cops, but if it's a loud leafblower, then they leave it alone. The cops tell me that they can't do anything, but they don't want to start any trouble by letting me ride. I can't stand it!! I have a large yard which is perfect for quadding also!! It's not fair

I hate people like that. One day I was riding my quad on a street that runs next to my house. Not busy and there is a big road close to it. Sometimes during the week I run my DS on this street to get her open. Next the cops came. He gave me a long story about this and that. He threatened to give me a ticket for no insurance and a bunch of other stuff. Well the guy that called the cops came over while we were talking and start running his mouth. First I told the cop to arrest him for trespassing and he wouldnt. SO I said ok ok I didnt know who was riding so it was my word against his. Later that day I saw the same guy riding his mower down the street to mow some of his other property. I ran and got my video camera. I called the same cop and said that guy is riding his 4 wheeler again. When he showed up I told him I was the one that called and showed him the guy with my camera. I told him I am a home owner and he needed to write that man a ticket for everything he told me about because he was aware of what the cop said just like I was. I even vidoed tape the cop writing him the ticket. It was sweet. He doesnt call the cops anymore now.

Some of the backroads around here you have to dodge horse dung. I really don't like that on the road at least the Craptor doesn't Do that.
I think they should have to carry a bag and shovel. If you hit that stuff with your car its really the $hit$. I don't see the police telling these people to clean up there horse dung.
I just had to vent because summer is coming and that means horse riders again.
