Backfireing

this may have already have been posted before but i kind of need to know. every now and then when i am riding my raptor will back fire. it seems happen when i am really on the gas and right when i let off i back fires. it only does it when i let of quickly if i let of slowly it won't happen.any ideas

Adjust your fuel/air mixture screw. Turn it out 1/4 turn at a time till the backfiring stops. With my mods listed below my screws are set at 3 turns left carb 3 1/4 turns right carb. These adjustments are turns out from a fully closed (seated) position on the mixture screw.

If opening the mixture screws does'nt clear the problem up, you will have to install larger pilots.
