I just picked up a 1989 Blaster to fix up so that my little brother can go riding with me. Everything is in really decent shape other then the engine, the piston cylinder and probably crank are no good and it looks like the clutch basket has grooves warn into it. What kinda money am I looking at to have it redone, or am I better off finding a good runing engine? Does anyone have an engine for sale or know of a good place to check? Thanks for any help you guys can give me in advance!!!

 

You can check ebay for an engine, or theres some company that sells oem blaster engines for $1200. You can get a bore kit which will fix the cylinder and come with a piston. OEM clutch baskets are cheap.
