Good deals are not as they may seem. I purchased my 87 warrior for 400 bux. IT had about the same problem with the electrical and my more. spent over 2 grand in parts. My 87 warrior is now a 2001 warrior with old plastic. That is how i would describe it. Check the fuse under the left rear fender. if it is not blown chack for good grounds and connections. Otherwise this is going to cost you.
