Raptor axle bearings

I have a lonstar axle to install. a friend of mine is gong to do the job for me..but he is telling me that i need to get new bearings becuase the bearings are pressed on or something along those lines..Has anyone done this to their bike? what did you experience?

You can replace the axle without replacing the bearings, but I don't recommend it.

The axle will slide out and the bearings will be fine, but while you have it this far apart but new bearings in it unless it's barely been ridden. They're only about $40 for both bearings and both seals, and need to be replaced every couple years anyway. Why leave a set thats a year or 2 old in?

BansheeBrad I have a question for you. I have notice that you say raptor #2 was hers (she's gone). Is she gone or the Raptor gone?

Just wondering. I would hate to lose a good quad.
