If I were you and wanted decent power gains and not have an overly loud exhaust. I would look into Yoshimera exhausts they did pretty good in Dirtwheels shootout I think they put out about 46 hp and only 102 decibels.

I have an e-series slip on and it rips. Save money, there is no need to buy another headpipe for a stock motor. You may gain a max of one hp but you lose a lot more than that in torque. Torque on the raptor is what is missing.

How many of you had the stock raptor going up a hill, ran out of torque and had to hit the gas, then the front tires came right up? That suks. Torque is what is sorely needed on the raptor.

hell if you took the remaining money that you would have spent on a headpipe and got a small cam. you would be leaving the full pipe raptors in the dust. I ride with one guy that has a CT, one that has the Proline and one that has the Supertrapp. Once the jetting is right, there is very little difference between the pipes. Where the biggest difference comes in is in the proper jetting and airbox changes. The CT has a little more HP (I guess, i cant tell by riding it) in the high RPMs but it isnt noticeable because how often are you at the rev limiter? I notice my low end torque much more.

I got my pipe for 200 bucks and my jetkit for 50, then a powerfilter for 20. Not too shabby. My buddies thought they would smoke me because of the headpipe but it just wasnt the fact. I have an easier time with steep hillclimbs too because i have more low end torque and dont have to enter the kick of the powerband to get up a hill.

ok...im not going to tell tyou wich pipe is best...actually ...i'd say 90% of all the people in this site (atv connection) are going from results of magazine articles...instead...call up dirtwheels and ask to speak to somebody in the mechanical department or just ask to speak to someone that will know about performance products, and if "boss" is there...thats who youll get hooked up w/...and he'll tell you the truth.....
