OK, a while ago, on my Blaster, the chain slipped off the front sprocket, hit the shift shaft, and cracked my case. I got the case welded but my shift shaft is still bent down. Is there any possible way I can bend it back without taking it out of the case and without breaking any tranny parts or the case?

You will have to take your clutch cover off. After that, the clutches and basket come out, then the shift cam is right below. If the shaft is bent, you will have a hard time getting it through the cases.

So I don't have to split the cases? All I have to do is pull off the right-side cover, take out the clutch, then take out the shaft?
