What is the best way to acheive a bright shine on my dull Douglas Aluminum Wheels? Buffer?

P.S. The snow is melting the St. Anthony Sand Dunes!!! The south side is almost all exposed!!!

the best way is to do the following:

1. Clean wheel
2. Use rubbing compound with a buffer
3. Apply Mothers alum. polish with a buffer.
4. Done.

RW660, you say the snow is melting at St. Anthony, when is it open for riding. Isn't there a time when it is closed for some animal run or something? I've been there and am planning on going on april 30 again. I just bought a banshee so I am anxious to use it. How cold is it there around that time. Thanks

The actual sand dunes are not closed. Some of the land bordering the dunes are closed for the Elk. The south slopes are clearing off nicely. I hope to get out this weekend but there is still going to be a lot of snow on the north slopes. I have not checked to see if they plowed the road to Egin Lakes. The road supervisor for Fremont County told me that it would be this week.
