What size rear tires is the best for all around riding conditions for a 2001 Raptor?
Thinking about 22" Hole shots. How would they work? are other tires better for all around use?

you'll get better ground clearance, but your low end will suffer. so you might want to chnge your gearing. also if you do very much mudding hole shots aren't that great.

We put Maxxis Razrs, 22" on my son's Raptor and flipped the linkage to give it ground clearance but keep the ride height the same. It's working great. It is geared too high, but he likes it that way. I dropped two teeth on my DS's countershaft sprocket when I put 22" XCT's on, and that gears it a little lower than stock with 20" Kendas (gag). The Raptor's gears are higher anyway, I would have put a smaller countershaft sprocket on, but, you know kids!
