What oil to use in 2002 Raptor

Do not use synthetic oil during the break-in period!
Nothing scientific but I prefer the Yamaha oils. Too many people fry the clutch experimenting with the wrong oils that have additives that are good for the engine but bad for the clutch.
Amsoil is probably one of the best 2 stroke oils you can use. They make a great oil for 4-strokes too.

NotuRaptor2 is bang on with this, use only oils that are rated for use with 4 stoke motorcycles.
The clutches share the same oil. Most automotive oils have anti-ware agents or friction reducers, these are great from getting better gas mileage and engine life, but they will eat up your clutch. If you find oil that you want to use call the manufacture (1-800-customer-service) they will help you with their product guide to find the proper oil to use with your quad.
