Raptor Pro Flow Jetting Question ?
#1
Elevation 1200'. Raptor stock with a Pro Flow filter setup. I rejet as per the Dynojet instructions. When it was a little colder -10 C to -20 C the Raptor ran perfect. Now the temp is almost +10 C i notice a little stumble at 1/4 throttle when i give it the gas. I called Dynojet and they said use the number 2 slot instead of the #4(stock). Does anyone have any ideas ? Someone remind me if i am wrong but top is the needle sitting in the carb, is that not correct ? If i move the clip to the #2 or #3 position doesn't that lower the needle or does it raise the needle. I just can't seem to picture it. Anyway i could use a little help. Anyone ?

There are 5 clip positions on the stock needle. #3 is the stock position. If you move the clip up on the needle to the #1 position (top groove) it lowers the needle (less gas). If you move the clip to the #5 position (bottom groove)it raises the needle (more gas).
#3
stock for dynojet is the #4 postion from the top (out of 5 possible) if you lower the clip (#5 postion) the needle sits higher in the main jet opening which is richer, if you raise the clip (#2 or 3) the needle will sit lower in the main jet allowing less fuel to get by which is leaner

I had similar problems when I rejetted. I'm running a white bros. E-series slip-on, prodesign proflow filter kit and the K&N (dynojet) jet kit. I had a stutter at 1/4 throttle and was runnig a little rich. I was also told to go to the second position from the top on my needles. Did make a vast improvement. Still a little rich but not to bad and the other problems went away. Seem to pick up a ton of power.
