well i remember back a year or so ago i saw a article in dirtwheels on a turbo banshee i was wondering what people thought about this and i cant find the issue so does anyone know the company?? or a site with it??

Hyper Technology or Hyper-tech? i think was who did the one in the ATV mag. I have the magizine but to lazy to go see.

The company is Hyper technology. They have a web site, do a search for it on the web. I saw one run at Glamis, the guy had an awful time tuning it, which you would think the fuel injection would take care of for you. It was quick but the banshees with 4 cylinder street bike engine could take it with no problem.

i don't think that it ever really took off as turbo charging a 2 stroke is not a good idea, a two stroke has compression not only on the top end, but it also has crankcase compression, turbo 2 strokes have a history of pushing the crank seals out slightly and causing air leaks.

Good point on the crank seals. Someone needs to find a way to keep them in better, it can't be too hard.

you could machine the crankcase sliglty larger, but leave a little lip where the seals slide in so they could seat against it. my neighbor races grass drags and he has a turbo snowmobile and he has to silicone his crankseals in, but gas slowly disolves the silicone and he has to redo it every few runs.
