I currently have a set of Shredders, with about 1/2 tread left, however, they have severe sidewall punctures, and won't hold any air at all. I would like to get a set of 6-ply Razr's, but I see that the All-Trak's are slightly taller, and have a nice tread patter. I am wondering how durable these tires are, I can't seem to find a ply rating anywhere. Any info on the durablity, wear resistance, and puncture resistance would be greatly appreciated. I see that Mike Penland uses them on his GNCC Utility quad, so they must be a decent tire??

Thanks.

I have a set as "spares" for my raptor and one of my riding buddies is on his 2nd set, they are really long lived and good for a variety of trail conditions, I like my holeshot xct's better they hook up better and are better in the sand my buddy likes the all tracks better since they slide better in the turns which i also noticed

My friend has a set of them. They are a great all-around tire and get good
wear.

I talked with a guy that rides with Mike Penland. Tim said that the Altracs are very good all around tire. He was saying 95% of the GNCC racers in the utility class run them. After emailing Tim a few times I decided to buy a set of 25" for my Wolverine on Douglas .190 alum rims.

I will say it was the best improvement I have made to my 01 Wolverine. They have great traction and so far I have not had a flat with them. They ride very smooth and even with fultime 4wd I have no problems with the rough terrain like I did with the Titan 489 XT's I had on prior. Now when I hit rocks at strange angles the Wolv. just trucks along without any painful responses. I know don't worry about the machine trying to throw me like it did with the Titans.

I would and will be buying only Maxxis Altracs or even SurTracs for what ever machine I have from now on. I'm very happy with them and if Mike Penland can use them on a 650 Prarie and race ***** to wall and have no problems then they are fine for my Wolverine. I would recommend highly the Maxxis Altracs. Even though they are 2 ply they are tough as nails since they are biased ply. The sidewalls are pretty stiff and allows for low tire pressures. I ride at 4lbs a tire but will be trying 3lbs the next time I ride.

great tire, I have an estimated 2500km on them with a slight amount of wear. good in most conditions, hooks up good, yet you can spin them, and powerslide. I like the 22" diameter(actually 21.5 or so) big improvement over my stock 20" tires(19" by the time I was through them) they are very durable for a 2 ply tire. good sidebite too. and they are fairly cheap. I'd say go for it.

I have a set of 22x11x9 All tracks on my 98 Warrior. They have been on there for a couple of years and still have at least 75% tread. I've had one flat that was easily plugged. These tires are a good compromise tire. They are sporty with their flat profile and good sliders while they are also excellent in mud/snow/goop. If your wheels can find the ground you'll not be stuck for lack of traction. The only times I got stuck running these tires is when I high centered or the a was too steep and slick to maintain momentum. They did everything I was hoping for and far exceeded my expectations. BUY THEM.

I had all tracks on my 300ex. I was very impressed with them. I was a bit concerned about flats because they were only 2-ply, but I never got any punctures. Definately more aggressive than holeshots or razrs.

You can't go wrong with the ALL-Traks. I also had them on my wolverine and they worked great! But do use the AL wheels. I used the stock steel on mine which was ok but you will get a little more power from difference in weight. Only problem I had with these tires was I puntured one in a hare scramble but this was my fault. I was going to fast thru a creek and must have hit a sharp rock or piece of metal.
