i know that some of you guys out there like speed, but i'm different i like being able to pop wheelies, go through some deep mud, do a little work and all in all have some fun.(ok a little speed wouldn't hurt either). My plan is to transform my 01 warrior into a rec/utility quad. so far i have a rear rack, mud quards and new maxxis sur tracs on the rear end. i know i need a pipe and maybe a jet kit. i have a few ideas on a pipe but what i really want to know is how much power and speed will i get out of a pipe and a jet kit. if anyone out there can give me hand i would appreciate it. thanks.

Sounds like you should have gotten a Wolverine and modded it up. But thats ok your choice of the Warrior will work just fine, either get an LRD or a White Bros. pipe, Jet kit, then do the cam with a .430 lift cam from web cam and go with the race valve spring kit. Then try going to a 10.25:1 high compression Wiesco piston and rings. While you are at it you might as well go 1-2 teeth higher in the front sprocket because modded Warriors respond well to that. Then it should run very well.

the warrior is already a rec/utility machine , it shouldn't even be marketed as a sport machine because it sure doesn't feel like one.

i was looking at a wolverine but i'm not big on 4x4's. i wanted something that had a manual clutch, 2 wheel drive and had some power and speed to go along with it. the warrior seemed just right for me.
now as for what you suggested for me to do, i'm just looking for EITHER a pipe or a jet kit. i was hoping someone could tell me which ONE will i get the most power and speed increase out of.

theres a manual clutch kit for the wolvy, but you want a 2wd. Alba warrior is your answer.
