I want to get some bigger tires for my bike...maybe some Gators. I want to go to a 26" tall tire. If I do...will it hurt my top end? Will I lose any bottom end power? My stock size is 25x8x12 on the front. The back has 25x10x12. The smallest the Gator come in the 26" size is 26x10x12 for the front....will it rub very bad. I'm thinking about going with 26x10x12 all the way around. Anybody running this combo?

Hey Garbo...How are things in Texas? I'm getting "Gators" installed on my Y2K tomorrow. 26x10x12F & 26x12x12R. I've been talking to quite a few people who have them on their kods & they love them. I was concerned about them rubbing on my winch but they tell me they don't. A lot are putting 27" on but I think I'll stick to the 26". I am also going to install the overfenders...for obvious reasons. I use mine mostly for pulling out moose & deer...also trail riding, so speed isn't a big factor for me. I was looking at them at the shop & the dealer tells me they are selling like crazy. will post pics when they're on.

Hey Kodiak...please let me know how you like the tires. Let me know if they rub when you turn. Did you put wheel spacers on? Let me know if you notice any loss of top end or bottom end power. Where did you order them from? Talk to you later....oh by the way here in Texas...spring has sprung!!!
